NPPA staff sent to prison for maliciously wounding Teacher
A forest guard at the country’s National Protected Area Authority (NPAA) Eustace Connel has on Tuesday 10th September 2024, sent to prison on remand by Magistrate Santigie Bangura of Court No.2 for allegedly maliciously wounding a teacher by the name of David Joseph Kemoh Williams.
The accused Eustace Connell is before Magistrate Santigie Bangura of Court No.2 Pademba Road, Freetown, on two counts ranging from wounding Contrary to Section 20 of the Offences Against the Person Act 1861 and Assault Occasioning Actual Bodily Harm Contrary to Section 47 of the Offences Against the Person Act 1861.
According to the particulars of offence on count 1, the accused Eustace Connell on Saturday 13th April 2024, at Charlotte village, Freetown, maliciously wounded David Joseph Kemoh Williams.
Count 2 state that, the accused on the same date and place assaulted David Joseph Kemoh Williams in a manner thereby occasioning actual bodily harm.
Matter adjourned to the 24th September 2024, PC 18235 Kebbie is Prosecuting the matter.
