The Statistician General of Statistics Sierra Leone (Stats SL), Andrew Bob Johnny, has, in a strategic meeting, assured staff of a more impactful and rewarding era as he embarks on a new term in office, declaring, “I will double your smiles.”
Mr. Johnny made this statement during an address to staff at Stats SL’s headquarters in Freetown, as a way of officially announcing his reappointment by 𝐇𝐢𝐬 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲, 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐢𝐮𝐬 𝐌𝐚𝐚𝐝𝐚 𝐁𝐢𝐨. 𝐇𝐢𝐬 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝟑𝟏, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔.
In a speech marked by optimism and forward-looking ambition, Mr. Johnny expressed gratitude for the confidence reposed in him by the President, and reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening the institution’s role in national development.
