Campus Fight Leads to Expulsion Of Four Students at FBC
Fourah Bay College (FBC) at the University of Sierra Leone has expelled four female students following a widely circulated video showing them involved in a physical altercation on campus. The decision was made by the university’s Disciplinary Committee, which reviewed 14 disciplinary cases during the 2023/2024 academic year.
A statement from the university outlined that while some students faced expulsion, others received suspensions ranging from one to two years. The notice, which included the names of the expelled students, served as a stern reminder to the student body about adhering to campus rules and regulations.
The university urged all students to steer clear of behaviours that might result in disciplinary measures, emphasizing the importance of maintaining decorum on campus.
