LPP Leader Displays Respect For Kailahun Traditional Authorities
In keeping with the customs and traditions of our people, the Chairman and Leader of the Liberation People’s Party (LPP), Pastor Mohamed Samuel Kamara (MSK), upon his arrival in Kailahun District, made it a priority to pay courtesy visits to the traditional authorities and custodians of the land.
Before proceeding with his major engagement with the people of Kailahun, Pastor Kamara respectfully met with traditional leaders, including Chiefs and Paramount Chiefs, to formally acknowledge their authority, seek their counsel, and explain the vision and purpose of his visit.
During one of these engagements, a Chief expressed appreciation for the courtesy shown by the LPP Leader, stating that he had not previously received a presidential aspirant or flag bearer who personally visited his residence in this manner to pay respect and engage him before meeting the wider community.
For Pastor Mohamed Samuel Kamara, this gesture represents the kind of leadership he seeks to promote, leadership built on humility, consultation, inclusion, and respect for our traditional institutions.
The LPP Chairman and Leader has repeatedly emphasized that his journey is not simply about seeking political power or personal recognition. He believes leadership must reach beyond the political stage and engage the people and institutions that form the foundation of our communities.
Pastor Kamara remains humble, focused, and committed to the vision of building a Sierra Leone in which no community, generation, traditional institution, or citizen is left behind.
