Kings Empire Launches House of Stars Reality TV Show
In a groundbreaking move to elevate the entertainment industry in Sierra Leone, Kings Empire SL LTD unveiled their highly anticipated House of Stars Reality TV show. The grand launch took place on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at the Ministry of Tourism & Cultural Affairs Hall on Kingharman Road, Freetown.
During the event, Chairman Ibrahim Koroma, also known as Prezo Koroma, addressed the audience, highlighting the seven-year presence of Kings Empire in the industry. He expressed his sorrow for the loss of talented entertainers such as DJ Lava and Etta Bawah, emphasizing the transformative power of the House of Stars show, particularly for underprivileged individuals in the entertainment sector.
Abdul Kalokoh, the event producer, shared details about the House of Stars Reality TV Show in a press statement. This inaugural edition of the show is scheduled to commence in October and culminate in December of this year. More than 20 participants from various entertainment fields, including bloggers, dancers, sportspeople, fashion artists, DJs, comedians, models, designers, social media influencers, and women in sports, will compete in the show.
The criteria for participation require individuals to have a substantial social media following of over 20,000, be recognized as stars or celebrities within their respective fields, and possess talent, creativity, and entertainment value. The show aims to attract millions of viewers worldwide, offering captivating content, originality, and a selection of the most exceptional participants. Application forms will be available to the public at a cost of Le1,000 ($100) starting from the end of July 2023.
Abdul Kalokoh revealed the generous prize awaiting the winner, including a three-bedroom flat, a car, household equipment, and a cash prize of 50 million Old Leones. This coveted reward underscores Kings Empire’s commitment to transforming lives and empowering individuals within the industry.
Renowned figures from the entertainment sector, including General Maj, expressed their enthusiasm for the upcoming reality TV show and extended their congratulations to Kings Empire for their visionary initiative.
CEO Valentine Mak King took the opportunity to emphasize the importance of supporting local stars and celebrities. He urged residents to rally behind their own talents instead of favoring foreigners, highlighting the self-sufficiency of Kings Empire as a self-sponsored venture. Although they operate independently, King expressed openness to support and sponsorship to further enhance the House of Stars project.
